Weekending-The Labor Day 2014 One

On Saturday, I woke up to a good hair day-
So, I knew it was gonna be a good day.

I spent some of my morning working on Brazen Stitchery stuff, and the rest making rolls and a crumble to go along with the brisket that Ray made.  I made the cole slaw the night before and put the baked beans in the crockpot.  This was the first time I have made baked beans-which is odd, because I LOVE them.  These were good while hot, but once they cooled down, I could really taste the salt.  So, when I do them again, I am gonna reduce the salt by half and increase the water by at least 2 cups.  The beans had some trouble cooking because there was not enough water.  Once I added more water in the am and turned up the heat, they were cooked lickety split.

This is the brisket that Ray made along with a couple of random kids.  Okay, it's Li and O.  It was delicious and yum was had by all.
I hope you guys had a good weekend!  Mine was mostly filled with work between tweaking a new bag design and prepping Phat Fiber samples.  I have been jamming to the iTunes radio station that plays 90's alternative.  I think I am never gonna grow out of jamming to that kind of music.
