Definition of Brazen Terms

Listings

Deep Vault - Deep Vault items are items that have previously been retired-either base or color way-and have been relisted for a reduced price.

Retired - Refers to colors or bases that are being either temporarily or permanently retired.  These are listed at a reduced price.

SARM - Single And Ready to Mingle.  Refers to last skeins of a dye lot, have been listed at a reduced price.

Improv Class - Refers to color ways that are one of a kind.  There is no guarantee that the colors will ever be repeated.


Yarn Bases

Duet - Duet is a 80% SW Merino/20% Nylon base.  This is a 2 ply and is a tight a springy ply.  There are 400 yd per 100 g skein.  Duet is generally used for variegated and solids.

Harmony - Harmony is a 75% SW Merino/25% Nylon base.  This a 4 ply yarn and has 460 yd per 100 g skein in sock and 245 yd per 100 g in DK.  This is also the base used in our Halfie skeins and our 20 g skeins.  This is usually the base used for our Self Striping yarns.

Medley - Medley is a 100 SW Merino base.  This is a 3 ply yarn and has 490 yd per 100 g skein.  This base has been retired.

Diva - Diva is a 80% SW Merino/10% Cashmere/10% Nylon base.  This is a 2 ply skein and has 400 yd per 100 g skein.  This is available in 100 g and 150 g skeins.

Dolce - Dolce is a 50% SW Merino/50% Silk base.  This is a 4 ply yarn and has 435 yd per 100 g.  This is a retired base.

Paparazzi - Paparazzi is a 75% SW Merino/20% Nylon/5% Stellina base.  This is a 2 ply yarn and has 435 yd per 100 g skein in sock and 235 yd per 100 g skein in DK.  This is used for Variegated, Solid, and Stripe skeins.
